Putting a door back in its guides means taking the tension out of the system, supporting the door's weight while the rollers are re-seated, straightening any bent rail and then re-balancing — with a heavy panel that wants to fall and springs that are still loaded. Attempts with a crowbar reliably turn a straightforward repair into bent panels and replaced rails. Note which rollers are out, leave it exactly as it is, and call.

In rough order: closing onto something left in the opening, a knock from a vehicle, a snapped cable unloading one side, rollers worn flat until one jumps the guide, and rails bent or brackets loosened over years.
