Who you are dealing with

ABC Garage Door Repairs is the trading name of Alaa Alzayadi (ABN 52 109 217 634). These terms apply when you use this website and when you book garage door work with us. By doing either, you accept them. If something here doesn't sit right with you, ask us about it before you book.

How quotes and prices work

A figure given over the phone, through the online quote form or by the chat assistant is an estimate built on what you have told us and any photos you sent. Once we can see the door, we confirm the price with you before starting. Should the door turn out to need something different, such as a worn part hidden behind the one that failed, we stop and agree the change with you first rather than adding it to the bill afterwards.

Price ranges shown on this site are approximate and are there to help you plan. They are not an offer for your particular door.

Arrival times and changing a booking

The time we give you is a window, not a fixed appointment, because an earlier job can run long or an urgent call can come in. If we are going to miss the window we will ring or message you. If you need to move or cancel, let us know as early as you can so the slot can go to someone else.

What we ask of you

Please make sure we can reach the door and the opener, that there is power to the garage, and that pets and children are kept away from the work area. Tell us about anything you already know is wrong with the door, and don't operate a door we have told you is unsafe until it has been repaired.

Paying for the work

When payment is due and the ways you can pay are set out on your quote or invoice. If you have a question about a charge, raise it with us and we will go through it line by line.

Parts, manufacturers and your consumer rights

We don't add a separate cover period of our own. New openers, doors and parts we fit come with whatever cover their manufacturer offers, on that manufacturer's terms, and we will tell you what applies before the work goes ahead.

Separately from any of that, the Australian Consumer Law gives you rights about the quality of services and goods you pay for. Those rights cannot be signed away, and nothing on this page tries to.

The information on this website

Our guides describe how garage doors and openers generally work. Doors differ by make, model and age, so check your own manual before trying anything, and never adjust springs or cables yourself. Please don't misuse the site, copy it wholesale, or try to break or overload it.

Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or knock-on losses that come from relying on general information on this website. That limit does not reduce any right the Australian Consumer Law gives you that cannot lawfully be excluded.
