Taurean
Taurean garage doors are serviced and repaired across Perth by our technicians — springs, curtains, cables, tracks and the TauraEdge track hardware. Taurean's Windstrong range is wind-rated, which means the door was specified for a particular loading: if yours is one of those, the fixings and the guides matter as much as the curtain, and we treat them that way.

Taurean is an Australian manufacturer within the Stramit and Fletcher Building group, best known in WA for its Windstrong roller doors — a range engineered and tested for specified wind loadings. Anyone who has watched a garage door bow inward on a big afternoon sea breeze understands why that exists.
The practical consequence for repairs is that a wind-rated door is a system, not just a curtain. The guides, the fixings into the frame, the bottom rail and the wind locks are all part of what makes the rating true. Replacing a curtain on one of those doors with a generic one, or re-fixing a guide with whatever is in the toolbox, quietly undoes the thing you paid for.
Everything else is standard roller and sectional door work: springs that lose tension, drums and cables that wear, and tracks knocked out of line. We do that on Taurean doors the same as on any other, and we will always tell you when a door's rating is a factor in how the repair has to be done.
Names to look for on the label — we work on all of them.

Taurean's track hardware, and the part most often damaged when a door is forced.
Recognise one of these? Tap through for what causes it and what the repair involves.
On an ordinary roller door, a curtain is a curtain. On a Windstrong door it is part of an engineered assembly, along with the guides, the wind locks and the way the whole thing is fixed to the frame. We ask which one you have before quoting a curtain, because fitting a standard replacement to a rated opening is a false economy that nobody notices until the weather tests it.
The routine hardware — springs, drums, cables, rollers, bottom rails — is standard and rated to the door's weight, and we carry it. If your door is on an exposed or coastal block, expect the fixings and brackets to need attention before the curtain does; salt and constant wind loading find the fasteners first.
