Why has my Avanti remote stopped working?

Usually one of three things: a flat battery, a lost pairing after a power event, or a memory that has filled up with old remotes. All three are quick to sort. We can code a new remote to the unit on the spot and clear remotes you no longer have, so an old one cannot open your door.

Can you fit an Avanti motor on a door from another brand?

Yes — openers and doors are almost never the same brand anyway. A Common Opener on Perth Doors, and What Goes Wrong
